45 Great Gold Medals and 238 Gold Medals, these are the medals awarded by 45 technical international tasters during the tastings held on 28th and 29th September last.
863 wines registered by 319 wineries from 26 countries of the world, these are the numbers of the 31th edition of the Mondial des Vins Extrêmes, the only international wine competition expressly dedicated to wines produced by heroic viticulture.
In addition to the medals were also awarded 19 Special Prizes and the VINOFED Prize established by the homonymous Federation of the great international wine competitions of which the Mondial des Vins Extrêmes is part.
The award ceremony will be held in Rome, at Palazzo Rospigliosi, Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10 am. The Ceremony will be preceded by a Wine Talk entitled: The wines of heroic viticulture: when the territory leaves its mark.
From 4pm and until 10pm it will be possible to taste all the award-winning wines in a special tasting desk at the Hotel Savoy (via Ludovisi, 15) open to the public.
